I had the door card off to grease the runners as my windows only inch up.

I did this and it did not work so looking at the motor I took the bottom plug out, I pressed the down button and the window went down, but would not go back up?

I plugged this back in and tried again and it just clicks once when moving up or down. The window does not move at all?

The motor was working fine until I unplugged this? I have tried holding the window button open for 15 seconds and up again but nothing, just once click and that is it?

As you can imagine, the window is not wide open and will not move so need it sorting.

    Any ideas please?

PS I do not think the motors are gone as my passanger side windows does the same as my drivers side... I had this on my old car on the drivers side and the passanger side was fine.

I have looked all over the net and cannot see anything sensible to resolve the issue, all they say is replace the motor which at BMW prices is my last resort.

    thanks

Sorry, sorted this now. Turns out closing the door and opening again plus reassigning the motor worked.
