Right, I have replaced the Module with one from a k reg i believe, instead of behind dash is under collum. It has the same WI-WA LOW II 12v as my one, couple of numbers are different though.

Anyway, tried this, again, same problem! I am getting 2 Intermittent settings.

Took switch completely off car this time and gave it Aa good clean with contact cleaner and had the hoover on it, then some WD-40 and again hoovered it. put it back, still same problem!

Opinions please peeps? do I get another switch to try?

You could try this if you like. Unplug the wiring connector from the wiper switch.
With ignition on use a piece of wire to short across the pins on the connector as follows:

From pin 1 (brown wire) to pin 2 (black/brown wire)....Should operate the normal wipe function.

    Then try,

From pin 1 (brown wire) to pin 4 (black/blue wire).....Should operate intermittant function.

If this works ok, then it looks like tatties for the switch

As far as I can think right now, as long as everything else is still in place (module plugged in etc.) then everything should work as normal.
When you apply the first link the wipers should operate in normal mode as if you had flicked the switch to position 3 on stalk and when you take the link off it's the same as putting the switch to off.
    Same for the other link.

Do you mean the fusebox or the module?

So when you hold the link between pin 1 and pin 2 the wipers work intermittently?

Hold on a sec. Is the car able to be driven, or is it just sitting stationary while you are trying the wipers.
The reason I ask is that I think that if the wipers are set to 'normal' they will revert to intermittant when the car is stationary, hence the 2 intermittant settings.
