i hope someone can help please!
i went to the office today parked up my car and took out the works van.
i come back and when i tried my alarm fob to get back in the car it DIDNT work.
the light on it comes on in the alarm fob but it dont unlock or disarm the alarm!
i NEED my car for work.
its the alarm fob with the grey button and red button, and what makes it worse is my backup fob needed to be coded to the car after a battery change, which i was trying to get time to do!
i used my little alarm key to turn it off, but i still had to drive home with the hazards on. which is dangerous. but i
cant turn em off cos the alarm is making them go off!
anyone got any advice? or a way to stop the hazards going off or disconneting the alarm or recoding my spare so it will work?
    any advice would be amazing!

and i apologise in advance if ive dropped this thread in the wrong section.
    cheers

im panicking now, i got about an hour of daylight left and dont know what to do!
is it worth taking the battery out of the non coded one and putting it in the normal coded one? even though i think both batterys are fine.

Re programme your fobs to the alarm. If you dont know how to do this I am sure this is explained somewhere on this site.

    thanks for your help guys.
    any help always appreciated.
luckily i solved the problem, it was the fob battery.
ive still gotta recode my spare one but i swapped the battery out of my normal one and stuck the battery from my spare into it, and turned my alarm back on with my little key, worked a treat.
even though the light shows it dont mean it works(something to remember) cos i tried it right near the sensor and it wouldnt work, so keep a few spare batteries.
im on ebay now looking for spare batteries.
im happy my vert is safe now and alarmed

but im DEFINITLY gonna take time tomorrow to recode the other one and replace the batteries in both!

There was a link somewhere on this site on how to re-programme your fob but if you cant find it let me know as I saved a copy on my laptop as I need to do mine.
