    All done and dusted thanks to the advice on here, thank you very much.
    I taped off the yellow/black wire so that it only starts from the button now and not with the key.

    Whilst I was under the drivers footwell I also took the opportunity to replace the pollen filter as my aircon was blowing a bit weak...

    I even got round to doing the old golf-tee mod on the exhaust, sounds great

    A bit of cursing and spitting but got it done in the end, not bad for a one armed bandit with a broken wrist.

    Surely im not ment to wire both the 15 wires together?

    I tried wiring mine in and i went with green/red and green/white to both of my blue wires which in this pic would be both the green wires then the red to the red wire then the black to an earth, all that happened for me was the relay box made a clicking noise and the button lit up blue but it didnt start so i need to wire the red and 1st blue to the purple then the last blue to the black yh?

    i am doing the same thing to a bmw e36 1998 i would like to know if this diagram would work , also the black and yellow wire is the same thickness as the purple wire.... but i have a green wire that is as thick as the main red wire :S should i be concerned?wirediagram2.jpg

    I have the same VR KIT guys , can you tell me if the way hamadhayat`s way worked i have a 325tds 1998 same ignition switch.
