Recently bought a 328i Sport and I'm having a few little niggly faults.
First of all the ASC system.
No light on the dashboard. At all, upon start up, when the button is pressed etc etc.
If I get in the car, start and drive, without touching the ASC button, All is well Until I try to accelerate and as I approach 70mph (ish) the car starts to hold back and struggles to rev.
If I then press the ASC button, the car revs freely and will accelerate hard again.
Any ideas? If it makes any difference, the car apparently has an M50 inlet manifold and Big Bore Throttle Body, and an M3 3.15 LSD...
Also, One touch windows.
Passanger side is fine, goes up and down fine, no problems with one touch.
Drivers side however, goes down fine all the way with one touch, but sometimes struggles going up and then returns to the lower position. If I hold the button it goes all the way up, and also it auto-rolls up with my alarm system.
Again any ideas on this?
I am getting a low beam failure message (Due to having HIDs fitted apparently?) and also a number plate bulb message every now and again, however they are all working fine. Anything to worry about? I have checked the wiring in the bootlid hinge too, all good.
Map light bulbs are missing...
I can't seem to find the size listed anywhere!!
The auto climate unit is playing up too but I have removed that ready to send to a company that repairs them.
All help greatly appreciated.
