hi, yes they have both stopped working at the same time, there seems to be a little bit of clicking from the doors when you press the up an down buttons,i did have a quick look at fuses the other day but because i hadnt got the sticker on fuse box lid then i wasnt sure where to start, they all looked ok though at a glance, didnt want to take door cards off if it was a relay in fuse box lol

If you can hear clicking then you should have power to the windows. (in any case check all your fuses and replace any that are blown lol)

Best thing to do is take the door cards off and while pressing the up/down switch give the window motor a thump! The motors themselves may have either seized or just given up completely, and you may have to replace them (try the drivers side first).
You should also check the grounding for the motors at the same time (also situated behind the door card).

Give us a shout if you have any problems mate

Also for the windows the regulators need a good clean and re-greasing every ten years, and new white sliders that can collapse. The white sliders are easy to change, they can pop out without removing any other part of the window mechanism.

Ok just a quick update , I have sorted out the window problem , ended up replacing both motors after the windows had just stoped working and had jammed in the up position, reset them after fitting motors and away they went working fine
