    Hi All,

i recently bought a 1998 e36 323 as a small project, since i have bought it the heater/air con doesnt seem to work, the digital display lights up and looks like it is functioning as it should however the fans never actually do anything, the only air that comes in is just ambient air. now before i go in all guns blazing with screw drivers and a socket set and rip everything out, does anyone know what the main things to check are. im not that great with electrical things, bodywork is more my area lol

    thanks in advance!!

    HI,

well i got a new FSU and fitted it tonight, after taking apart the wrong side of the car first FML, aaaand nothing seems to be happening, have fitted it all back correctly and tested the heater unit, no air coming out still, although now . . . . . when i turn the car/ignition on, there is a tapping noise coming from roughly behind where the stereo is, it gets faster then slower then stops, same happens when you turn the ignition off too. I have checked the fuse and this seems to be fine also.

anyone else got any other ideas??

    Many thanks!
