Check the all the bulbs in the rear and front lights. Sometimes if an incorrect bulb is fitted (2 pin instead of 1 or vice-versa) or the live is fitted incorrectly it feeds back through the earth and can cause all sorts of strange light behaviour.

Finally got around to trying to sort this out, checked all bulbs around car, they seem fine. Checked and replaced all fuses they seem fine.

I am now at a loss? Must be a wiring fault with the dipped beam. As the flasher still operates!!

    HELP!!

Have you checked the earth wire connection on the inner wing just at the back of the light.

i recon when you put the full beam is run off a different earth to the sidelights only hence why they only work when full beam is on

Does the earth point behind the light also affect the footwell lights and the bulb behind the temp gauge on the speedo unti. The reason being , the bulb on the speedo sometimes comes on and sometimes stays off. I have checked the connections and they are fine. Also, the footwell lights never go off.

This making me think the car has a bad earth somewhere!

I have the same problem with my Offside dipped light. Will go on fine on flashing but does not function on parking lights.
