    I have just bought a 1998 318i touring,useing the key in the drivers door will unlock Drivers door, boot and fuel cover. Nothing else. Using the key in the passanger door will unlock the passenger door ,boot and fuel cover.again nothing else. Back doors will not open under central locking. HELP any advice please!

    First thing to check for is if you are getting power to the two rear door solenoids, you may be unlucky and have 2 knackered solenoids. You'll need to remove the door trim to do this.

    12v going to both rear solenoids.

    Check the wire cable near the trunk, it has bad wires in it. It's on the lefthand side when opening the trunk. You have too much faults (front and backdoors)and no motor error.
