hey guys when i bought my 99 318is it came with one fob that did nothing but light up,after extensive searching the net and this forum i have re-synced the fob with the car and it now locks/unlocks the car. However i got my mate to sit in the car to activate the arm by the volumetric sensors which worked but only made the indicators flash and no sound from siren.

Looking the siren im pretty sure it is in the ON position if im right meaning the emergency lock is ON and will stop the siren from going off.

So obviously i just need to turn it into the OFF position, but here comes the problem! I dont have the key for it!!!

So any ideas where i can get one from or ways around this problem

    Cheers peeps

If the key is in the On position then the alarm is On, so it sounds like your siren may be toast.

    A siren would work yes,

You could test the power to your old siren using a multimeter or probably a power probe/test light.
