    I have a e36 318i conv, and the hood is manual i was thinking of fitting the electric motors and switch to convert this to electric, is this possible with exisiting wiring or would i have to also run new wiring etc.

    we did one many, many , many years ago.

    You need the complete elctric hood mechanism, hydraulics and the wiring harness and micro switches..............unless you have a donor car, this is gonna be expensive and a complete ball-ache!!

    thanks in that case i will just leave it as it sounds a lot of work lol and was thinking just bolt a motor in and away you go
