    hello everyone ,
    right bit of a stange one this but here goes the other day i redid my head gasket and decided it would be a good idea to run an electric fan but low and be hold it was not as it fried my electric doh ! Anyway got them all working but one, brake lights i have cheeked fuse and its not that, there is power getting to the fuse and from the fuse to the switch, and from the switch to the rear lights, all the other lights work its no the bulbs i tested them sepertly so really confused as to why if i have power there they wont work????? Posible earth ? Or ix there a relay i have missed ?Can anyone help please

    OBC clocks done.

    Have you looked at the brake switch under the brake pedal ?

    yer i've looked there its not the switch even by passed it this whats confuseing me as there is power the rear brake lights so they should work but dont so really confused ?¿

    Long shot but do you have any ABS problems, as some cars with ABS share some of the electrics with the brakes ?

    my abs has not worked for a while the brake lights have but i think thats due to the abs sensors but i will look in to later as going to the unit to take another look if its not that then really stumped lol

    i bridged the conector that plugs to the brake light switch even used a circit tester to see if the was power to the rear lights through the switch and there is but they don't light up i have power to everything could be dodgy earth ?? But all the rest of the lights work on the same earth so really stumped going to have a look at abs system see if that may be the cause

    right at last i fixed use lights have up with normal method and try'd the good old if in dout give it q smack and hey presto it worked lol stuppid car lose bulb ha funny really cheers for the help tho guys
