    Hi,
When i tried to start my car earlier as i turned the key onto 3 for the starter all the electrics died. No interior light, radio, dash, etc. Took the key out try again but the electrics were completely out in key positions 1 and 2, no central locking either, and the fob wouldn't work. In key position 1 the airbag light, and only the airbag light, was very dimly lit.
I went to disconnect/reconnect battery and just a tiny nudge on the nut to start undoing it and the boot light came one. Turned key to 2 and all dash lit up like normal, tried to start and it did it again. Everything dead.
Disconnected/reconnected battery again and it started up fine.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Leon

Check the wiring from the boot to body by peeling back the rubber tube. Common problem leading to frayed wiring and shorts. You could also check all the door wiring looms as well. If ok, then could be a bad earth from the battery.
