    Hi

About an hour ago bought a stunning 525 TDS SE from our local auctions. The only fault is the ignition barrel.

The steering lock is not on and you cant turn the key from the off postion but the ignition is live and I drove the car home fine after I bumped it.

My question is are the barrel's ony available from BMW as Ive tride GSF and they said they dont sell them.

    Thanks Craig

The ignition barrel is only available from the dealers. Also pull the steering column cowling off and you will be able to remove the ignition switch and turn the ignition off.
