We have already said, that it's an earth problem... You need to check the tracks on the light unit, and grounding points.

Electric takes the path of least resistance, and if that means going through another bulb and partially lighting it up, then it will.

Which will of course, also throw something up on the OBC.

Parking lights are afeature to allow you to illuminate one side of the car if parking on the road at night.

    This is expected behavior.

    As before:
    • Corroded bulb / bulb holder connections................(BAD / POOR EARTHING)
    • Corrroded bulb holder to light unit connection.........(BAD / POOR EARTHING)
    • Wiring loom to tail light connection........................(BAD / POOR EARTHING)
    • Bad earth track............................................. ....(BAD / POOR EARTHING)
    • Loose earth point............................................. ..(BAD / POOR EARTHING)
    • Broken wire.............................................. .........(BAD / POOR EARTHING)

Probably associated with rear right light cluster.

However, these things can sometimes be weird, but 99% of the time (in my experience) are really easy.

First off thanks for all your help

Ive removed all the light units checked all the wires, bulbs, bulb holders connectors e.t.c cleaned up with contact cleaner

Refitted the lights and still the same problem

Ive just cut open the wiring that runs through the boot and found two broken wires, ive repaired these and checked the others and they are all fine but still got the original problem.

    Is there anything ive missed

Ok i have noticed something which might be me being stupid but my tail lights have 8 pins but there are only 7 in the connector so one pin on the brakelight circuit is not connected, Is this normal or is it something to do with check control?
