Looking at the wiring diagrams, it looks piss easy !

Apart from 1 wire... It comes from the 26pin ZKE connector (the green one) to the door handle microswitch... But at some point, it should spur off to the "Anti-Theft System (Alpine)", I take it thats just the alarm ? It should spur off on the x475 connector, but I can't find this one. Anybody have a clue on it's location ?

I'll be attempting this in the next day or so

    Thanks,
    Ferret !

Interesting thread, I'll keep an eye on this as I think it's a good idea

Just one question though would this be classified as a modification ? as in I'd have to tell the insurance company ?

Thanks Button Below, Be a Sport...

Sorry - I forgot to update this thread !

Yes, I got this all working as it should

w4vy - A modification means it's different to how it came out of factory - So if you were to fit heated door locks, then you'd need to tell your insurance company. They will probably turn around and say "Thanks for letting us know, but it won't affect your premium" as it's not really much of a mod
Better to tell them, than not to !

If you need help fitting heated door locks, just ask - I can help out.... Nice easy job (Minus having to swap the actual door handles over).
