Surely the triangle will light up when the ignition is turned to II or wont meaning your bulbs gone. Alot easier than just pulling clocks out. Or am I being stupid here? After typing that I cant actually remember if my triangle lights up on ignition II

Yep, it should do, which should at least rule out a bulb if it comes on during the initial check.

If there's something wrong with the system, the light should stay on. If it doesn't come on at all, then it'll more than likely be a bulb. You could always run the instrument test to be sure, and save pulling the instruments out unnecessarily.

If it comes on when you start the car, then goes out, then doesn't come back on if you press the button even though you appear to have more wheelspin, then, um... Someone else will have to answer that one!

Yer it's your bulb. Just double checked and it should light up when you start the engine. At least you know it's a simple couple of pennies fix and not electrical nightmare
