Hi, I am new to BMW ownership and have just bought an E36 TDS Touring.
It has climate control but it doesn't work. There is no display on the panel, but it has a mindd of its own. I can put the ignition on and it doesn't work, the next time i put it on the fans blow hot air, the next time they may blow cold air, etc etc etc it simply does what ever it wants to!!!!!!

    Please help!!!!

Not to sure about what the problem is, it's probally the control panel in the dash.
You can get them fixed, does the panel work otherwise when the ignition is on ? or is the display always off ?
The panel is just genally prize it out and unplug.
If you need another one I have a working one spare.

The display does not work at all, nor do the buttons. but the fan and temperature control themselves. How much you want for panel?

I dont know what it's worth, I'll have to take a picture of it so we know it's the right one.
Is yours a dual climate control zone panel ?
