Hi all, I'm fairly new to here! I must say, it looks like an amazing site!
Please excuse me if this topic has been covered elsewhere, I could not find the relevant thread. Any links would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a 1997 323i coupé, the central locking and total closure on my drivers door do not work, passenger door is fine!
The chap I bought the car off said he had disconnected the wiring to save the car locking the keys inside when the anti hijack kicked in.
I thought he would have disconnected the wiring plugs but looks like he just ripped the wires off!

There are three connectors in the door either two grey and one yellow one (or vice versa). Does anyone know which connector does what? I have put a photo of one of the grey ones below to help identify them.

Also, I would like to link the total closure wire from my Toad alarm to the standard BMW total closure circuit. Does anyone know which BMW wire I need to tap into??

If you have the same problem, I think I found the answer to window closure:
    http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...818/page2.html

Still doesn't explain why central locking doesn't work though!

Have you checked for power to the solenoid?Or has the wiring been ripped off that too?

3 connectors in the door - One's for the heated door lock microswitch, one for the heater it's self and the 3rd for the central locking microswitch !
