As per thread title....How? What? etc etc.

Am hoping to ft electric seats into a car which doesn't have them currently. Which wires should I attach to what and where should I get power from etc etc?

All help, advice and suggestions welcomed!

Have you looked to see if you have any wires under the carpet?

I know whenever I fitted any new electrics onto my 2004 Vectra I would find the right wiring coiled up somewhere behind a bit of carpet etc, but I have zero knowledge of BMWs and I think the seats might be a bit too specialist for that?! How common are electric seats in 1997 coupes?

I enquired at my local Indy a few years ago about fitting electric seats in my E46!

He told me you just need to make up 2 wires (With Fuse) A live to power seats + a earth.

The memory settings wouldnt work as they are stored in the Ecu.
