    hi all
    just wondered,if any body can tell me how to set mi roof up ,ie press the button,roof goes back,flap does not lift ,but motor working,flap lifts ok manualy,roof folds away ok,but flap dosent lock in.

    it all seems to be working ish,but its as thou the timing is out ,making it all out of sink.

    all help most welcome,as mi heads going !

    hi Ronnie thanks for the info,after sevral cups of tea,i removed the motor,and i had discounected the motor gear by accident.

    i locked the boot lid with the boot open,got my mrs to press the roof button to put flap motor fully in the flap lock down position,slackened the cables,re engaged the motor,tighten the cables up to lock the roof flap down,and now its working fine.

    Hi, i am havng sum trouble with my 323i convertible, fully auto roof wont budge at all, tried the manual allan key, opened the roof as far as it goes, then lifted the rear scren end, the storage cover wont open, checked in the boot, all intact, pulled the levr under the back seat, to release but still no joy, i dont know where the fuse 7 and 49 are located, please advise, any assistance is appreciated.
