I had some MPG calculation issues when retrofitting my OBC. Have a read of this to see if it helps...

well it all seems to be working and the speed limit owrks as tried this and it flashes when i hit stated speed it wont beep as dont have gong fitted

its currently sitting at 13.4 mpg and range 93 its been used for only 4 mile so i assume it will even out.
im going to have a look at the calibration if i can find anything about it and see what that does

Your link shows how to recalibrate using manufacturers average MPG. Bear in mind that the calculation they use is an industry standard so buyers can compare MPG across manufacturers - it isn't "real-world" MPG. Plus US cars have extra emission control which means their MPG is worse anyway.

I get around 23mpg on my 323 Auto (mainly urban, some mixed) so yours should be around the same. The only way to get the totally accurate rate is to fill your car to the brim, run it down, refill then do the mpg calculation (4.55 litres to a gallon) then you can readjust the OBC accordingly.
