also since doing the retrofit it seem i can now hear the climate control unit fan still working after ive removed the key is this normal and just me picking it up now thinking i wired the thing wrong? any help would be great i dont fancie a flat battery or fire lol

Yes, your seeing CC Inact. because you don't have it - There is a way to disable it on the OBC, but i'll have to find it for you.

The climate control unit has a tiny little fan inside it, which is uses to draw air across the thermistor to check cabin temp's, and once the ignition is off, it continues to run for abit to cool the thermistor off !
    Don't worry, it's normal.

It seems to stay on for varying amounts of time. But the longest i've had it on is 30mins.

Well just been out on it and its far from right
    Speed-showing 24.6 when i was going 60
Range- just keeps going up i assumed it was to say how far i had left in my tank?
    Distance-just dashes
    Code- nothing
Ext temp - -35 with flashing f what stops after a few seconds
Comsum wellll 99.9mpg im happy if i was actualy getting that

Limit , timer and clock work fine
I must have done something majorly wrong here
    Any pointers?

As for climate control it turns off after 10 mins

Speed is correct - It's an average, not actual.
Range - What did it start at, and whats it at now ?
Distance - That is dashes. You need to set a mileage, then press set. For example, 100 miles, after 100 miles, it'll bong !
Code - That should also be dashes until you set a code, but if you haven't wired it up, then it won't matter what code you use, that feature won't work
Ext' Temp - Leave it a while, it might take an hour or two for it to stablize.
Consumption at 99MPG means your getting a feed, but not a correct one.

You say the timer works correct, have you also wired it into the ZKE for it to bring on the fan at a set time ?

CC - 10mins is fine, it won't drain your battery, it's too small !

You need to be checking all your wiring again, making sure you've wired the correct plugs on the OBC, to the correct plugs on the instruments.

Thanks for the help mate. Ok zke?
I followed a wiring diagram to the tea i think. All the black wires what where required on the diagram go to the blue on the rear of clusters and the white from obc to the white on clocks. That left me 1 soare which went under steering wheel behind panel. Purpel and white. Its got me stumped

So at 115 miles, where is your needle sat for your fuel guage ? It might just take a little time to settle....

ZKE is the body control module, behind the glovebox - The one with the black, green and yellow connector's.

Which guide are you following ? I don't remember putting anything under the steering wheel

If it's dead on a quater, i'm looking at about 100 miles.... With yours being a 323, 115miles seems about correct... Although, with the MPG not working correctly, i'm not sure how it'd get such an accurate figure.

Let's get the rest working correctly, then we can sort the fuel gauge out (Although I suspect it might be correct).

You will need to PM your email address, I wrote an XLS file to use.
I sent to it someone else on the forums, but they never said thanks, nor told me if it worked or not ?!?
