    hi guys
    just recently my signal on my radio has been crap, it has been fine but all of a suddent has gone crap.

    my aerial cable at back of head unit is powerd from my remote output from head unit. the aerial has power, cant find out what is up with it.

    am i right in thinking the aerial is in the back window??
    i have no external aerial

    any help would be great

    yes i believe it is in the back window and since i had rear tints put on mine has been shocking and only works now and then...
    bmw e36 compact
    now rolling on REMOTECS

    Have you checked the connections on the airiel amp?
    1998 E36 323i SE Saloon
    Standard headlights and clear front indicators fitted to replace those in my sig pic.
    E46 Alloys

    On the saloon and coupe its in the c pillar on passenger side, dont know on the compact but I would have thought a similar area

    Im sure the airiel amp is inside the tail gate on the compact, well it was on the 1995 boot lid i bought to replace on my old compact

    edit yes defo in boot lid

    still no luck iv checked all connection at amp (that was in boot lid cheers guys)
    does anyone know what all cables connected at amp do??
    should there be power on some ov them??

    where does amp get it power from. it seems that amp is not getting a feed??
