hi folks this is my second attempt at fitting a keyless entry remote kit. i bought it from rclick.com and has a flick keys on the fobs. i know that it can be connected behind the glovebox and from what ive read you need 12v pulses for the lock and unlock. my kit doesnt seem to give 12v pulses out from the c/l wires but i did read about a few people getting these kits to work. anyone out there care to help me out

right also got the indicators wired up so they flash with remote lock/unlock and thought id share the info with everyone. to do it i needed to run the turn signal wires from my remote kit to under the steering column. i doine this by removing the plastics from where the clock is to make it easier to feed the wires through. then theres a pretty big black and white plug with 12pins beside eachother the turn signal wires connect to pins 3 and 6 of the white plug. in my case the wires i could connect to were blue and grey this may differ for others. hope this helps

    Hi,
Just doing this now and in a bit of a state!
What colour and exactly where did you locate the main 12v supply to power the unit.

    Cheers,

I took my 12v from behind my stero, split it 3 ways, one for Control unit and one each for the 12v triggers.

Hope this helps ? Alternatively If I remember, one of the corner pins on the central locking module plug (central plug, purple colour on my compact) has 12V constant ?? I may be mistaken.

Cheers for this. Did you ground the negative to the chassis or a wire?

    Thanks,

    LATER THAT DAY....

    Ok, it's all done,
    Pretty easy.
Unfortunately indicators only working on one side of car on Arm/ DisArm.
Shame...I double checked the crimps and all the rest of it and just can't figure it out but as it's growing dark and teeming down rain I shall call it a finished job - for today that is!

If people are interested I'll post a photo 'how to do it', when, I get ALL the indicators to work
