    Cheers for all the reply's lads

    I feel really silly now

    Took the radio out and problem solved so i re-arranged a wire which was in the wrong place and and that's it done.

    Excellent forum btw,

    many thanks

    It's very common, I've noticed quite a few of the BMW ISO adaptors end up with wires in the wrong place, the permanent and switched live seems to move around a lot.

    I found a thread showing what each wire does so it was easy to figure out using that.
    Without it would have meant stripping out door cards e.t.c. which is a pain so i'm quite happy

    Blue with purple stripe = Right Rear +
    Blue with grey stripe = Right Rear -
    Yellow with pink stipe = Left Rear +
    Yellow with grey stripe = Left Rear -
    Yellow with red stripe = Left Front +
    Yellow with brown stripe = Left Front -
    Blue with black stripe = Right Front +
    Blue with brown stripe = Right Front -
    White = Remote wire
    White with brown stripe = Not used
    Grey with red stripe = Switch Light
    Brown = Earth
    Black with white stripe = Not used
    Purple with white stripe = Ignition Live
    Red with white stripe = Permanant Live
    Put that there..
