These were working fine the other day on the second level setting, where they're going constantly but not at the highest speed.

Suddenly the wipers stopped going constantly on this setting and began working intermittently. Now, on the lower two settings, each time before the wipers start I can hear a click from the glove box area, and each time they come back down to rest I hear another click. On the highest setting, where they still work constantly, I only hear the click when I activate the highest setting, and then once more when I deactivate it, not in between each instance of the wipers crossing the screen like on the lower two settings.

Is this the relay that's causing this? I've read that this may be located behind the glove box or where the fusebox is, under the bonnet. If it's located behind the glove box how do I gain access to it? Thanks!

If the car is stood still, the wipers will only work intermittently on the first 2 settings.

Start moving, and they'll work properly
