    1997 BMW 318I Convertible Coupe

I recently removed the aftermarket scorpion immobilizer due to unit failure. The car starts and runs, but it seems to run sluggish as if it is restricted by something, and it idles between 0 and 500 RPM. Also, during idling it behaves as if it is about to die then it picks back up, never getting above 500. Does this have anything to due with the alarm system I removed? It never used to do this i'm stumped. Would resetting the computer fix the issue?

Maybe you knocked the throttle cable under the bonnet? or maybe knocked one of the sensors? I'm assumin', that you removed the siren from under the bonnet? lol.
The alarm shouldn't interfere with the idle anyway.

Did you have to rejoin any wires when you took the immobiliser out? If so what colours and were there any left over?
