First off this car does not have the factory alarm system set up. It has an aftermarket scorpion brand , immobilizer alarm system. Now I can not get it to unlock, I have tried replacing the little battery in the keyless entry and everything. It lights up red when the button is depressed, but nothing on the car happens. This obviously creates the problem of my car not starting, so I am stuck. I pulled the glove box out and now am staring at a maze of wires and black boxes. I can't seem to locate the lead power wire for the alarm. I know if I can cut this wire, the system will shut off and will be successfully bypassed. Can anyone help me with locating this bothersome wire???

Cutting the wire would do the opposite. It'll be immobilised and would never start.

What you'll need to do is trace all of the wires as it should provide a break to 2 circuits.
When you find where this is spliced in, you can reconnect them back to the way they were.
