any one had head light stay on after ignition switched off , drivers side.
well this fix is very expense,at bmw, new lcm e39 needed at the cost of £250 plus vat then you have to have it reprogramed any thing between 100 to 150 depending which bmw garage plus vat, my quote for the the complete job was just short of £500, what a rip off.all becuse a transistor had gone in the light control module, i found a guy who fixs this for £100 no vat as good as new, the robbing twXXs. if you every need him email me .

    I have a e46 2002 325i saloon.

For some reason the driver side dip light light stays on when I unlock the car via the remote key or lock it.
That is the dip light in the same location located where the beam light is transmitted from, but only the driver side dip is affected.

The driver side dip light will stay on for a few minutes and then turn off when I unlock the car or lock it using the remote Key.

Any ideas if this the LCU at fault?
