i just setup my pc for carsoft.
do i need all the cables for the diagnostics?
i wanna do a full system scan to see what values everythinks set at,plus error codes present.
this info will come in handy for m8 18 button obc conversion.

The latest GENUINE Carsoft is dongle protected and therefore you need a bit more....

Whilst older versions are not, you do need the leads and a "black box" that has all sorts of bits and pieces lurking inside.... Getting a copy of Carsoft is the easy bit.... We only encourage the use of genuine software on this forum

The lead that goes from the PC to the car has a black box in the middle as well.... Kinda like this, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=120576089309

Can't see anything on ebay right now TBH....
