    hi i am just wondering if it is possible to take out the passengers air bag on a e36 m3 3.0l and run with out it and if so what would be the best way to do it

    You can take it out, but the drivers airbag would not then work correctly and you would have a fault light on the dash. You would need to swap the dash for a non airbagged car. You would also have to remove the steering wheel and swap that with a non airbagged wheel and remove the warning bulb from the instruments...

    i only really would want to take it out because i mite have my son in there i was just thinking of disconnecting it and leaving the dash in can that be done?

    Yeah, you should be able to disconnect it by removing the glovebox to gain access.
    It will light the fault light and stop the drivers one working as well though...
