I want to order HID's from DDM. I posted this in another BMW forum but where it is mostly US. They said I would need to upgrade to the glass front headlights. But since my car is English spec I already have the glass front. But are my lights okay to take HID's or will it still scatter the light wrong?

This is the link to my headlights when I enter the Vin on real oem.

    Thanks.

Those lights are fine for taking HID's but I suggest you get some shrouds too. Those are the same headlights I have with HID's

Yea but with the whole projector/reflector thing. Just want clarification whether it's the right housing for HID's.

It'll be fine. Make sure you fit the shrouds though!

2 pictures of my headlights. From looking at them I think they are projectors.

And what are shrouds by the way?

    Thanks

    Thanks.

Sorry for being a bit paranoid guys. But a lot of people are crappy drivers already without "boy racers" blinding them.

Also I want to do my fogs but I'm guessing I can't with the standard ones? And the projectors on ebay look about as good as a pile of dung.

Don't do your fogs as it renders them useless when you need them in the fog...

Once again those headlights are fine for taking HID's but get shrouds too, shrouds cost around £15-£20 on fleabey

Shrouds cover the reflective part of the light, so the light only comes from the projector and won't dazzle/p*ss off other road users.
