Hi guys really need some help

my e36 328i just wont start

,the car wont crank ,there is no power to the fuel pump ,but cluster and lights all work,i checked all the relays there is power on the main realy and fuel relay but no power on fuse 18 to the fuel pump i gave the relay direct power to fuse 18 and it worked ,still no starter or ignition ,tryed grounding the engine still no luck ,oh and could it be the acuator on the drivers door but central locking works fine with the remote when i use the key it just turns but does'nt lock or open, the all right side indicators dont work any more but blinks on the cluster rapidly ,also on the fuse box i found a live cord it was there when i bought it but the mechanic took it out not sure where it goes any idea's ?

i met with an accident a while back ,sent my car for reapirs ,both driver doors were replace oh and the battry eventulay died, charged it but car still wont start ,think its the ews or dme but how can i know for sure ?

the mechanic really messed up my car ,i'm 21 its my first car and i worked really hard and still paying for it,i cant afford to send it in again for repairs

please message me as well if posible

thanks for all you're help in advance ,..

ok this seems like an immobiliser?

Theres a big round plastic black plug on the exhaust manifold side of the engine bay, is this still connected?

Perhaps you hae an ews problem? as you switch your ignition on stick your head near the glovebox do you hear a click?

Same issue here but a little different story.

I've had a 96 318i sitting in the garage for the past five years. The car is a project. Before I parked it, I replaced the fuel pump and it was running. I finally came back to "restore" it back to health and exactly the same thing is happening. My cluster lights up but I can't hear the fuel pump and it will not crank. Checked and I am not getting power to fuse 18 as well. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Grush.

Using a test light check for power at the starter motor solenoid wire when the ignition key is turned to the start position.

If you have power then the starter is knackered or the main earth cable.
