the last 3 mornings ive gone to start car and just a few clicks, checked voltage and only 8v,after jump starting voltage is 14.3v at idle,so changed battery yesterday for a new heavy duty one,and this morning...click click 9.6v,alternator seems to work when car is running. could this possibly be either a central locking or power windows fault,as both fuses will occasionally blow ,then battery seems to hold charge.any thoughts or ideas?

    Hey ste,
Sounds like either windows or locking is draining the battery, maybe leave one fuse out tonight and see what happens, if nothing try the other fuse, will at least get it down to a definate cause, then you can investigate from there

I would also check the wiring at the boot hinge as it's a common problem area and can cause multiple problems. http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...problems-t208/
