    ok thanks mate,i will make sure there connected properly, if they are, can they easily be tested they work? because these can stop the car from starting,if they done work?

    well i must have got a spark, it ran for about 30 secounds,(lumpy as hell) yeh...!!... the fuel pump primed when 1st put ignition on. but maybe its getting no fuel?? i dont seem to hear it prime now? or it ran for 30 secs with what fuel was left in there? any other reasons why it wont stay running?

    Well it sounds like if you arranged a live feed to the pump somehow you would have the answer on that. If the pump has a relay that is easy enough to do

    in my car the fuel pump relay is in the fuse box under the bonnet there should be two that are the same next to each other i just swapped them over to confirm that the fuel pump one was knackered ie the car started so went and got a new one from bmw

    thing is i got 3 there.one is empty.? Tthey come of the wire harness. I will try moving them about. Anyone no how to get a direct live to the pump??? Also which side is the pump and which is the sender.?? Thanks
