hi i bought the car and it didnt come with an alarm fob, its a 3t model.
is it possible to get a alarm module with a working fob from the scrappers and just swap the module?
also does anyone have a pic of what the module looks like, ive found the thread about them but the pics dont work
    thanks

In theory yes you can swap the module over to a unit with a working fob. The 2T and 3T are problematic so most people remove them and fit an aftermarket system. Pics if the module are here....

I agree with billywhiz, I removed mine.

Some cars have the modules under the rear seats in a metal box if your having trouble finding yours

If yours is a 1995 then it has EWS, which has a built in immobiliser. A chip in the key must connect with the transponder around the ignition barrel otherwise the car will be immobilised. EWS doesn't need an alarm to make it work.

all ur alarm will do is sound if someone opens a door, you may have a microwave sensor fitted (like i did on mine), but normally the previous owners "loose" the fob because the alarm sops working properly and going off at stupid o clock.
