Hi folks, can somebody please clear this up for me....
When reverse is engaged is the passenger mirror supposed to drop down or was this an optional extra? It doesn't do it on my current E36 Touring but It did on my old 735i, and my mate is convinced it should as he said every BMW he has owned it did!

Don't know if it's the same for the E36 but on the E46 this feature was only available if your car came with electrically adjustable seats.

    Hope this helps.

I've never seen this feature on an E36 and there's nothing about it in the owners manual.

Never had it on any of my 3 328's i've owned !

I've heard that some E36's do come with it, but i'm yet to see it !
