Right guys... I have done a search BUT found nothing... Not as good as billywhizz1984 at searching

My problem is when I put my handbrake on NO parking light comes on... I remember taking my centre console out and found a bulb and wire and never looked back just put centre console back on...

So how do I get it to work again?????

Well done for at least trying to find the answer yourself!

There is a little switch under the handbrake that you'll need to reconnect, you can see it on Steve's armrest post here....

A brown/green wire goes to the switch as circled in the second photo. It's hard to describe but you push the pin down and slide the wire through the hole in the plastic toggle and this holds it in place, you can see that better in the first photo. It doesn't have a "connector" as such.

Best off going down the scrap yard and pulling an E36 apart for the bits you need.

Sorry to bring this up after so long, but what type of bulb is the handbrake light one? I need to replace mine as it doesn't come one, and I have a feeling it's blown.
