my window on the drivers side of my 1996 bmw coupe is intermittent so i bought a second hand motor off ebay, from another coupe but it isnt the same, my question is my motor has to plugs either side of the window motor yet the new one has the two plugs at the bottom of the regulator, will this new motor work in my car?

What seems to be the problem with the window?

and is there any chance of pics of the regulators both side by side?

its the switches on your door latches attached to the body, they control the window moving up and down when opening/closing the doors.

They become worn after a while so they need to be replaced.

This clicking only happens whilst driving, yes?

no if the window doesnt open and you press the button you can hear clicking in the door like the motors trying to work, it happens all the time when the window doesnt work
