    does your remote locking work?looks like its the wiring for the remote locking at a guess

    have always noticed that bmw fit the full wiring loom which makes it handy to retro-fit otherwise un included optional extras. my mate fit an electric sunroof to a 318is i sold him that had a manual one! He found the wire right where the wonderful people at the factory left it! gotta say though that wire on your pic has me stumped!

    It's usually the other way around - BMW was quite stingy when it came to wiring.
    Your old car either used to have an electric roof, or your mate just struck it lucky !

    couldnt believe his luck! even managed to find a headlining and switch! do we think that wire is the central locking solenoid wire? although it looks like the tweeter speaker wire (or am i being silly?)
