I tried a new spare key on the 23rd, to make sure it had the right transponder in and yesterday was a first restart after the cold snap. It just turns over without firing, the lights dim and the turning over slows. So I charged the battery overnight, it was drawing amps last night and was still drawing 1/2 amp this morning. and again it almost started but now the battery is too flat again.

What do I do? I dont want to buy unnessecary things, do I get a booster powerpack first just to make sure it is the battery, then if the charge is lost again I can put in another battery, or do I simply get jump leads and rely on a camper van battery to try and jump it? I cant imagine it is anything else, it did have 8 inches of snow on it for a week or two sitting on the drive.

How old is your battery? They do die over time, even pampered ones which only ever get used in the recommended shallow discharge way.
