Hey people, i fitted a sub and amp last wednesday and all was good. But yesterday afternoon i was driving home from my sisters and the air bag light is now constantly on. So i'm guessing my dodgy wiring for my amp have disturbed a wire somewhere?

Is there a wire near the passenger side front seat which is a sensor wire? Also is there anthing else i should check?

    Thanks, Daz

in some models the passenger side front seat has an occupancy sensor which tells the airbag to deploy if someone is sitting there in the event of a crash. if your car has one, there will be a wire coming out of the floor under the seat, plugged into a small box which will be attached to the underside of the seat.

I have seen a single wire around the seat. But the only airbag i have is in the steering wheel not a p/s one. How weird.

hi i had this problem in mine it was the wires broke on the seat belt buckle had 1 wire on both snapped if you look down the side where the seat belts buckle into you will see a black cover over the yellow connectors mine had brkoe off at the connector i just re-soldered them back on and reset the airbag light as it does not reset on its own
