    can anyone help cars is driving great but every so often the lights on the dash go off diesel gauge and rev and speedo drop only to come back on later, fuses all fine, seems like a loose connection. also the wipers seem to have a mind of their own come on and go off on their own i have had another swirch fitted acroee the fuse to isolate them on a dry day. any ideas

    It initially sounds like a instrument cluster fault, as long as the plugs are fitted correctly in the rear of the cluster and there are no wiring faults then I would look into a new/second hand cluster.

    I would be checking the loom that goes into the bootlid for broken wires as this can cause electrical gremlins too
