hi i have a 96, 316i compact and when i bought the car it had blanks over the fog light holes so i have purchased some shiney new ones.
when fitting i noticed the brackets were instaled so it looks like they have been fitted before i cant find the plugs to connect the foglights anywhere along the main headlight wiring harnes or any where near to the fog light brackets?
dose this model come with the fog light wiring seperate to the head lights if so where do i start so i can find out if some tool has just cut them of near the fire wall.
i have also in the car the switch for fog lights but dont know where it goes behind the dash and dont fancy taking the whole interior out to find out.
if anyone has any ideas or pictures of what im looking for and where to find it i will be very gratefull .
    thanks

Sorry to drag this back up guys, i'm in a similar situation, however i'm sure the cables are not there, i consulted a mechanic and he said sure he can wire up the fogs for me, but i'll need to get the correct male plugs to fit the female ends of the fog's .

Does anybody know if i could buy them separately and what the part number would be ?

Have a feeling i'll be off to a scrap yard also to get the darn plugs, going to work a similar way, separate switch etc ..
