Theres a cable that runs into the siren, and then that runs down the l/h side of the battery. But I can't follow it, where should it be connected to on the other end?
Should run to a module which would probably be bhenind the glove box but what I would do is set the alram off and check there is power going to the siren with a mutlimeter
It should just now pull out, give it a hard pull you can't really break anything. There will be wires for the light just unplug it and a plug for the torch, which will need to be pulled really hard to get it off.
Ok mate. The two screws at the very bottom of the glovebox dont need undoing do they? I've taken out the 6 you said, 2 in vents, 4 top and bottom of glovebox when open. That it?
Hmm I've just had a quick look at mine and there seems to be two right underneath the glovebox that hold the underside of the interior to it. I didn't originaly have any screws in there and used 10mm nut and bolt to hold em in place.
I think they'll need to come off aswell mate :thumbsup
You should be looking for a black box wuth a white plug (or 2) going to it. Black wires will run into this box and its your alarm module. Follow the thickish wire that goes towards the bulk head and make sure the plug is connected. You may need to remove some insulation tape to have a proper look.
Right, your alarm module is the one right at the top and the the thick black cable is sleeving the four wires inside. Did you follow it through till the plug?
And did you remember to trigger the alarm when checking for voltage?
