Hi, I have FINALLY purchased my very first BMW, a tidy looking 1996 E36 316i Coupe Auto. There are various little niggles, nothing of major issue, apart from the central locking not working. The doors and boot all unlock with the key, and the fuses (2?) seem fine so i was thinking maybe the relay? I would appreciate anyones help on this problem as i really don't want some scrote to nick my petrol!!!

    Thanks, Jason

when you open your boot on the left hand side you will see some wires wraped in black tape. Get a blade and cut down the tape and see if any of the wires there have broke and if so repair and retape them back up.I had this problem when i first got my car and that what the problem was

    TO DO LIST
    Lowering springs(done)
    Uprated brake hoses
    Uprated electric fans
    Inlet manifold conversion
    Alloy wheels
