My battary went flat and on disconnecting it the alarm went off, I do not have the phob anymore to stop alarm. A freind has managed to stop the siren sound on the alarm , but the alarm hazard lights still flash. I have fitted a new battary but still cannot stop the hazard lights from flashing. I have read the BMW manaul and have done twice now the alternative to reset or reactive the alarm but the hazard lights only stop for about 2 seconds then they restart. How can I reset the alarm and stop the hazard lights from flashing. I have also had the glove compartment out as was told the alarm fuse should be there but it was not. Because of the alarm hazard lights flashing and I presume if the cable was reconnected the alarm would be sounding too. How can I stop and reactive my alarm ? Please somebody help me. I cannot drive my car. Thank you.

Have you tried connecting the battery lead up with the ignition on?
