I need to fit a 12v feed for my sat nav, could anyone give me an idea of the best place to take a live feed and ground for it. I'm planning to fit the socket in the area of the centre console.

    Cheers dudes and dudettes.

    How to improve your Audi:
    1) Open bonnet
    2) Insert large quantity of explosive
    3) Detonate from a safe distance (or not, I don't really care, you dirty Audi driving scumbag )
    4) Buy a BMW
    5) Thank me later

you already have a accessory socket the cigarette lighter use that if you need to use it then take the new sockets supply from there with a 5amp fuse just make sure the +12v is going through the fuse.

There's an alternative. There's always a third way, and it's not a combination of the other two ways. It's a different way

I see you've made you're decision now lets see you enforce it.

That's what I was thinking Carl, an accessory socket in the centre console? That would be the cigarette lighter...
