    hi i have just recently brought a 325 convertable with a roof problem when u flick the switch nothin happens can use it manually but would be nice to get it working i have checked the fuses but fuse number 7 was malted i removed it and put new fuse in all th windows work fine any help and advice would be greatly appreciated

    look in the boot see if motors have been disengaged there are to the left in the boot 2 of them. also if you want to use the hood manualy lift up back seats and there is a lever a flat one pull it towards you and you will hear the motors pop out in the boot if they are not already out. give us a shout you need any more help .

    thnks spartacus i have pmd u i have been useing it manually but would be nice to get it workin electrically and also the lid dose nt seem to lock dwn fully when doin it manually :(

    thank u sparticus tht what u told me did work but the roof still dose not opereate electricly i can now get the lid to lock dwn properly and can hear the motors working but nothin else someone said it needs a reset dose any one know how to do this please

    thank you i have done everything in that video but my roof will not go back up after doin it so i have to disengage the motors again to put the roof up and im bk to square one ne more ideas :( i can hear all the motors workin tho

    If you can hear the motors working it's probably one of the micro switches or a snapped wire/band

    right is there ne particular micro switch or wire thth there is a common problem with ??? i have spoken to the previous owner and he has said the roof did go intermitant ???

    i can not see any snapped wiring i have now inspected all the wireing so any ideas on which micro switchs to replace and the best place to purchase them from ?

    There are only two places to get the switches. Secondhand from a breaker / eBay or new from a dealer. Expect to pay around £30 each new.
